I spend a fair amount of time drawing. I’m mainly using ballpoint
pen on watercolour paper. I sometimes paint the paper, before, during
and/or after drawing on it. There are a couple of pictures in the
collection where my daughter Amelie have painted on the paper
first, and I’ve used that as the backdrop for the drawing.
As you can imagine each picture takes quite some time to complete.
The small ones takes from a week to a couple of weeks. The larger
ones can take several months. That’s wall clock time mind, not
full time work time or person hours.
The process is quite simple. I have no idea what’s going to happen,
just let the pen hit the papare and see what appears. And this is
some of what have appeared:
